Advent Children to hit Theatres?

Originally planned to be sixty minutes in length, and now hitting ninety and beyond (hence the delays from the original Summer 2004 release date), Square Enix are reaching the point where they’re beginning to consider a possible Theatrical Release for the Final Fantasy VII sequel, despite their catastrophic failure in 2001 with The Spirits Within. Prior to this, the film had just been thought of as a DVD-and-PSP-only release.
While nothing has yet been set in stone, Square Enix will undoubtedly want to be careful considering what happened during their last cinematic outing. Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within cost Squaresoft nearly 30 million dollars in losses, and sent the company down the path that eventually led to the merger with their former rivals Enix.

Crisis Core:
There’s still very little information about Crisis Core kicking around, but in the same interview it was said that the game would be, "...the kinda game that's gonna bring about some new sensation to the crowd. The story itself's the link which will encompass the whole of the compilation." Quite what this could mean, we don’t know, but if Crisis Core has links into all three of the other Compilation of Final Fantasy VII projects, it’ll be worth keeping an eye on...
