The movie will be released as both a two-disk Special Edition DVD ($26.96) and UMD video for PSP ($28.96). Packaged with the movie will be many bonus features including footage from the Venice Film Festival, “The Making of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children” featurette, deleted scenes, story digest, and a sneak peek at future Compilation projects. The Last Order OVA, which was released with the Japanese special edition DVD, will not be included in this North American special edition release.
Along with the release date, Sony also announced the English voice acting for the movie. It is unknown, at this point, if the North American release will also include the original Japanese language track.

Most of the voice actors who played those Final Fantasy VII characters who appeared in Kingdom Hearts will reprise their roles, with two exceptions. Aerith Gainsborough was played by Mandy Moore in Kingdom Hearts but she has been replaced with Mena Suvari in both Kingdom Hearts II and Advent Children. Also, it is pleasant to note, that Lance Bass, who played Sephiroth in Kingdom Hearts, will not be playing him again in this feature for he has been replaced with George Newbern.
