You can read a few scholars to get more information and you can find a heal fountain. Walk upstairs and you'll see the room with the 12 sealed weapons. Place the Lithograph on the altar and you'll be able to take 3 weapons you want (I'd suggest that you definately take the Excalibur and the Masamune). Once you've got your three weapons you are ready to leave, and watch out for the X-Death clones which you might encounter. Leave the castle and head for the big bridge and the small island it leads us to (there is a temple on that island)
