Living near Shinra’s old rocket launch pad, he has never forgotten his failure in going into space, which he blames on his assistant. But beneath his cussing and accusing outside, he’d gladly sacrifice his life in the blink of an eye for one of his friends.
His powerful weapons and high attack power makes him an great fighter, as do his multiple-hitting limits. Definately one you’d have in your party.
Ultimate Weapon
After the Shinra No. 26 takes off, return to Rocket Town and talk to the old man looking at the launch pad. He will give you the Venus Gospel. The Venus Gospel grows more powerful the closer Cid is to maxing his Mp count (ie. 600 mp out of 999 is makes for a weaker weapon than 600 Mp out of 600). See the rest of Cid's weapons here.
Lv4 Limit Break
His level 4 limit, the Highwind, is found in a chest in the Gelnika. It is in the same room as the Hades materia and the crashed helicopter. A great limit, as it hits many times for good damage.
